‘Tentoura’ is the traditional liqueur of Patras. It is very sweet, with pleasant flavour, dark colour and can be drunk straight, with ice as aperitif or digestive after meals due to its ingredients. It is used in cooking as flavouring in foods, in pastry, coffee and cocktail drinks. The main extracts it includes, that give out the most of the Tentoura Liqueur aromas, are cloves and cinnamon.
Because of its long presence and tradition in the distillation industry, Andreas Agouridis Sons Distillery Company, is one of the few companies that have the right to produce the origin protected liqueur 'Tentoura Patras'.
